Trail Description This trail is almost a secret I don't want to let out. But if you can leave this place like you found it, you are a welcome rider. The most beautiful riding I have found yet is all I can say. In the Big Horn mtns. of Wyoming, a place where there is still clear streams and hidden lakes to find.

Times to Avoid
Campground Primitive camping. There water for horses and a few corrals for the horses also. The view is worth the lack of fancy campgrounds. Not for the tenderfoots.

Directions East from Ten Sleep,Wy. on Rt. 16 about 25 miles to Deer Haven Lodge. Turn at the lodge and pick up forest rd. 24. Stay to the left and Battle Park is 25 miles out. The road is very bad the first 2 or 3 miles, but it then smoothes out. Take your supplies with you. It is a long ride back to town.
